The terms that apply when you use WL Tech services.
Who we are
WL Tech is operated by Christopher Welsh, based in the Scottish Borders, Scotland. These terms apply to all IT support, digital marketing, and consulting services provided by WL Tech.
Services
WL Tech provides remote IT support, SEO content writing, Google Business Profile optimisation, website building, short-form video creation, website health checks, and accessibility audits. Services are delivered remotely unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Pricing and payment
All prices are listed on the services page and include VAT where applicable. Payment is by bank transfer after work is completed unless otherwise agreed. Invoices are sent by email with 7-day payment terms. For ongoing services, invoices are sent monthly.
No fix, no fee
For remote IT support sessions, if the problem cannot be resolved you will not be charged. The £25 diagnosis fee is waived if you proceed with the repair. This guarantee applies to IT support only, not to digital marketing or website services.
Revisions and deliverables
SEO content, website builds, and video creation packages include the number of revision rounds stated in the package description. Additional revisions beyond those included may be charged at the standard hourly rate.
Liability
WL Tech will take reasonable care when providing services. However, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel an ongoing service with 30 days' written notice. For one-off services, cancellation before work begins will receive a full refund. Once work has started, charges will apply for time already spent.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
